The job is based in Brussel. Ericsson Belgium is known for their cooperative way of working with almost all the telecom operators in Belgium. You are part of the Account Management team with approximately 10 colleagues, all with their own responsibility and/or domain focus. Together they are commercially responsible for the Belgium and Luxemburg market. In this role you will report to the Head of Sales Belux and work closely with the solution director (and his team of Project Managers and Pre-Sales Consultants/ Architects).

Job description

You will be responsible for the portfolio of Digital Services and for example focus on Packet Core (unlock all potential of 5G), IMS, Cloud and Virtualization. As accountmanager you engage actively with your (potential) customers, create and implement your account strategy and objectives. You will answer RFQ’s and work with the bid team, and make spontaneous offerings for your created opportunities. You manage and mobilize internal resources to deliver end to end solutions and make a seamless transition from sales to operations.

You will run the existing business and focus on developing new business. You will communicate with several levels(including senior management) at client side to propose your solutions. Ideally, you will be at the client’s locations 50% of your time.

Your profile

  • Bachelor or Master level, ideally in Electrical Engineering, Telco, IT or comparable;
  • Experience in complex sales cycles and knowledge of consultative selling;
  • Knowledge of Telecom Core Network (Packet Core, IMS, etc.);
  • You are a team player with an entrepreneurial attitude, comfortable in sales;
  • You are perseverant and result oriented;
  • Good command of the English language, Dutch and French are a pre.
