IPCO Process Systems in Breda is a subsidiary of the Swedish parent company IPCO. The Breda facility manufactures machines for the food industry, specializing in the development, construction, and global sales of machines for the chocolate industry. The Swedish parent company IPCO Process Systems operates globally in the field of industrial process solutions. IPCO’s customers aim to enable sustainable production on a large scale. The organization has been around for over 120 years and is active in more than 30 countries worldwide. IPCO Breda is known for its informal, warm, and open culture, where responsibility is placed low within the organization. In this position, you report to the Managing Director and work closely with him, the Sales Engineer for America and Oceania, and the Global Product Manager Food.

Functie

As a sales engineer, you are responsible for the EMEA and Asia region, regularly visiting them with local agents and fellow sales colleagues. You are in charge of growing the business with existing customers and expanding the customer base. You will inquire customer needs, provide product presentations, write offers, and make basic project calculations for your projects. Furthermore, you monitor your sold projects in consultation with the Project Manager and provide support in marketing activities. You are not afraid to venture into unfamiliar territory, set the right priorities, and fill in the tasks within the existing frameworks at your discretion, partly building your own role.

Functie-eisen

  • You are enthusiastic, proactive, internationally interested, and an optimist who creates success;
  • You preferably have completed a relevant technical/commercial education;
  • You have an affinity with machine construction and process technology and/or are willing to learn this;
  • You are quality-oriented and result-driven and communicate well with your team;
  • You are proficient in English, both verbally and in writing;
  • You enjoy the challenge of working in an international environment;
  • You are willing to travel internationally for up to 50% of your time.
